I started this blog in 2010 when I became Director of Volunteer Programs (DVP) for a great non-profit in Minneapolis called Comapassionate Action for Animals (CAA). My original blog posts were aimed towards animal rights/welfare. However, in 2011 I stepped down as DVP. Now, The Veg Way is a source for exploration of plant-based foods, products and restaurants.
Over the past year I have traveled all over the world and am totally in love with the culture of cuisine. I do my best to adhere to a plant-based diet and always enjoy “veganizing” different foods. While the majority of my posts are vegan, I do share an occasional vegetarian dish.
My diet and lifestyle choices are very important to me. I love introducing friends to new, delicious foods and I love meeting others who share or are curious about plant-based diets.
